On every password editor can set expiration date. When user is login after this date he must change password. If expiration date isn't set, password will not expired.
In /.mifos/applicationConfiguration.custom.properties file are 6 methods to describe this feature:
1 - PasswordExpirationDatePrelongation - describe after how much days password must be changed (works only on accounts with expiration date)
2 - PasswordHistoryCount - how many times a password must be changed before old one can be reused
3 - MinPasswordLength
4 - MustContainDigit
5 - MustContainSpecial
6 - MustContainBothCaseLetters
