Yanna, vishwas, I fixed this in https://github.com/openMF/mifosx-community-apps/commit/58611b20920285ce61709ab8e7fb81f7efb620ae
The trick is that when your updating to fullname, you need to also pass firstname, middlename, lastname and set them to blank so backend knows you really meant to up date to fullname usage.
