If is common enough for MFI's to have roles associated with groups and centers (Ex: GK would have a center leader, group leader, secretary etc)
We need a flexible mechanism using which organizations can first define the kind of roles they have in groups and centers (so we would add new codes like "GROUPROLE" and "CENTERROLE").
then in the group and center screens we would have new sections to assign group/roles.
Clicking on an "add group role" button would pop up a dialog with a drop down for selecting the role and another dropdown (preferable jquery combobox) to select an existing member of the group for the particular role. (Hopefully the description is clear enough, am trying to skip the need for creating a mockup!)
So we would need a new table say group_role with columns
a) id (PK)
b) role_cv_id : Points to code values
c) group id:
d) client_id
For starters, Would expect the combination of role/group/client_id to be unique (we might add more constraints later)
