Keith,
In MIFOSX-449, the "first repayment date" is picked up from the next available meeting date from the date of expected disbursement date.
If the disbursement date is synced with meeting dates then there won't be any issue in having next available meeting date as a the "first repayment date", but if the disbursement date is not synced with meeting then there is a possibility of having next day as the first repayment date.
e.g. If for fortnightly meeting with following meeting dates 7 June 2013, 21st June 2013, 5th July 2013 .....
Scenario 1 : Disbursement happens on 6th of June (disbursement is not synced with meeting) then as per rule the next available meeting date is 7th Jun 2013.
Scenario 2: Disbursement happens on 8th of June 2013 then the first repayment will be on 21st of June.
What should be the best solution for above mentioned scenarios.
a. Have a configuration to specify the minimum number of days gap between disbursement and first repayment dates (same as Mifos).
b. Or MFI's should use the "first repayment date" provided in loan create/update to address this kind of scenarios.
