The scenarios vishwas describes are catered for already in the desposit/withdrawal transactions so you shouldnt have to worry about them.
Adjusting/Editing an existing transaction should undo the original transaction and add new deposit/withdrawal transaction. The negative balance check is already there and if change to transaction occurs before its interest posting then it should automatically pick up on this and undo the interest posting and post interest against for that period.
No restrictions on like only being allowed to modify last transaction should exist in the porfolio cababilities .
