yes its a good point - so closing of group would not make clients closed but you probably do want to 'dis-associate' active clients from the group or 'transfer' them out of the group and back to having no group (whatever the correctly terminology would be for that.) so that they can be picked up on again for new group formation.
Sumramanya, you/we can create a new improvement issue if you feel the above should be done automatically as part of group closure.
