Vishwas Babu A J commented on an issue   Sunil Mundra We first had support for the common payment application logic of Penalty-Fees-Interest-Principal (called as Mifos Payment order in the reference ui) Based on feedback from users, we have added other payment types like Principal-Interest-Penalties-Fees Interest-Principal-Penalties-Fees RBI India and two more strategies for small MFI's While creating a loan product, an MFI can choose the payment strategy to be applied for the same The current approach we are taking is to provide support for new Payment Application Logic as and when organizations ask for them. Going forward, we might also allow the user to define their own payment application logic (order amongst Principal, Overdue Principal, Interest, Overdue Interest, fees, overdue fees, penalty, overdue penalty etc).
