Hi Vishwas,
I think that works, the one thing I am wondering is how this will be with sub-branches. But I think we should just be able to make custom reports for those specific cases. For us the organisational level would already be sufficient. We would also see branch level accounting to use specific seperate GL's in a normal situation.

Currently there is no easy way to capture the balances in the different GL Accounts. This could be achieved by adding running balances to Journals. However this is complicated by the fact that different journals can be used for multiple branches.
