Seeking to provide an installer package for Mifos X.
This could be done as a self-extracting .exe file with a wizard similar to OrangeHRM.
or moreso as a launcher with an executable .jar similar to OpenMRS Standalone.
Please see the wiki page for details on either approach and past discussion on this project as it's been explored in great length for our legacy Mifos 2.x codebase.

Voilà - just thought I'd let you know. There are other technical ways unrelated to the path I chose to go about this functional req. as well of course.
A related point has always been the DB dep. In that context, I just wanted to make sure you're aware of my https://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4926 work, note https://github.com/vorburger/MariaDB4j. If you do decide to build on top of that, I'd be motivated to move that (MariaDB4j) forward together. Again, there are other technical ways unrelated to the path I chose to go about this functional req. as well of course.
