Basically the 'interest charge from' field is mandatory if some one uses the 'repayments starting from' field - these are in place for loans that are slight irregular - typically the first scheduled repayment date doesnt happen at regular interval from disbursement date (for whatever reason, typically down to disbursement/meeting business process of MFI)
So until we implement functionality better suited to irregular loan schedules or semi-irregular we might have to leave it in.
