I've learnt yesterday that Mifos X doesn't actually currently have fields for Actual Scope of Work done:
Simple addition of single VARCHAR column to support adding a staff or clients current mobile phone number(s?) on Client & Staff tables no.
- this Improvement issue is No out of the box support for adding that remember past phone numbers but on sms_messages_outbound we do capture the number the sms was sent to DB at that level so if client does change number , REST API, and we still know that the reference UI (depending on when this will be implemented, this probably will mean just sms in the new AngularJS UI).
I'll try past was sent to kick off a a brief discussion re given number . if users feel that this should be single value or multi on the list.
This is assuming that there is a agreement that - No validation or formatting of the phone number of the platform end , with plans for SMS functionality in Mifos, it formatting would make sense to have this be on the core database. If UI/APP side anyway and for validating the strategy is number we would need to keep core super lean and this should support configurable approach as can be on custom data tables, used in wide range of countries
What uses this decision should be recorded here, details given how Send SMS functionality such as :
MIFOSX-119 would know which field to will use , and this issue could be closed. the mobile number associated with staff or client for SMS sending
