When disbursing a loan that has been entered in the days before, MifosX does not correctly handle some constraints causing a corrupted schedule with negative number of days in one or more terms.
To recreate this:
-
Enter a loan today with repaymentsStartingFromDate and expectedDisbursementDate both set to today (as if you were disbursing today)

Then disburse the loan the next day, with disbursementDate = that day. This triggers the recalculation of the schedule. The resulting schedule has a negative number of days in the initial instalment as shown in the example.
Possible fixes:

Update the repaymentsStartingFromDate based on the actual disbursement date
-
Throw an error and ask the user to correct the issue before allowing disbursement.
