When the user Logs into a Developer Instance. When the app restarts, all requests fail. And you need to logout and then login to the app to use it.
This only happens on mifos instance other than demo instance.
Hint : Look into API.java file and replace the InstanceURL from a static value to a value stored in SharedPreferences. Just see the Implementation of Authorisation in the same file. Or Comment Below if you have any questions.
