Allow a set of UI configurations to be captured as XML or name-value pairs or a JSON structure (this will be configured by a specialist and not end-users). Name value pairs could be too restrictive - hence may not be a good idea.
Sample usage:
a) Which items should be displayed in main menu and "More" menu for Clients, Loans and Savings - for example: "Assign Staff" or "Assign Loan Officer" need not be on the main menu, but "Waive Interest" can be on the main menu
b) Default submission date and activation date to 01/01/2014 during manual data migration and on going live set it to "current_date"
c) Which tab is to be defaulted for loans and savings - for examples, for loans, the default tab to be displayed could be "Summary" or "Repayment Schedule" instead of "Account Detail"
Etc.
