Mifos is an open source project, while our small development team tries its best to deliver on items that are on our roadmap, we do occasionally do slip on items which are not a part of our roadmap (this item was not scheduled for the release this quarter, but we did try to address the same as you had raised it with a high priority ticket, however due to other partners raising more critical security related issues, we had to de-priotize your issue)
Since I do not want to to have a bad experience with Mifos, I will try spending some time on the weekend and getting this task done, however for future reference, please note that if you are looking for time bound development, it is a good idea to contact one of the partners listed at http://mifos.org/take-action/partners/ and they would be able to develop the features you need in your timeframe
