Users should be able to view their to-do list in their inbox. automatically route, and escalate tasks based on user- defined rules to individuals or departments. ensure none of the critical steps in the sequence are missed. Ideally, the workflow management should automate the front-end and back-end tasks, including origination, approval, disbursements, rescheduling, repayments and arrears management have full reporting facilities to allow management to generate detailed reports on user performance and on turn-around times in order to identify bottlenecks in the business processes and to eliminate them. The workflow system should provide support for the design and implement controls, enforcement policies and procedures and tracking employee productivity. The workflow system should record mandatory events and ensure that policies and procedures are complied. The workflow system shall also allow reviewers and managers to verify whether all steps in a workflow process have been completed. The workflow system should include configuration tools that allow workflow processes to be easily defined and mapped using a graphical user interface.
