Udai asked me recently if there is an up-to-date user manual. A web search for "mifos user manual" provides: http://mifos.org/knowledge/user-manual
Most of the information in this document (circa 2006) still looks relevant and accurate (enough), such as: * office hierarchy * overall interface descriptions/screenshots * roles/permissions * fees * group details * loan account states Some of the fields have changed, but this seemed like a decent guide for getting started. Beyond that, I suggested stepping through the SeedData.html Selenium IDE script checked into source control, since this does everything necessary to disburse a loan. Udai, hope this helps. If anyone else has a better source of "getting started" type information, do tell! My main sources of information when I was getting started were Aliya, Van, and Emily, but I don't know how to link to them. :)
