Just curious, but why was port 8443 chosen? That means the URL used by client browsers would be something like https://www.example.com:8443/mifos/ seems like the standard HTTPS port (443) would be a better choice. Existing filters in corporate intranets likely allow access to HTTPS services running on 443, but some may filter outbound connections over port 8443.
