Michael, Thank you for your email!
Have you tried following the end-user installation instructions? They are linked from the download page in the links on the right side of the page: http://www.mifos.org/product/download Here is a direct link to the instructions: https://mifos.dev.java.net/source/browse/*checkout*/mifos/trunk/INSTALL?rev= HEAD&view=markup >From your email, it sounds like you were trying to follow the developer install instructions - that's not necessary unless you want to help develop the Mifos software. The instructions above are simpler. If you need help installing Mifos, we have a great local Mifos Specialist in Kenya, Adept Systems: http://www.adeptsys.biz/services_micros.aspx.aspx They can help set up your system for you. I'm cc'ing Ed Cable, who runs our community and partner programs, and he can get you connected with Adept if you want. Alternatively, you can email back, and get help from the mifos-users mailing list, which I'm also cc'ing. There are a lot of experts on this list, and they can help you do the install yourself. There is a lot more to having a successful information system for your MFI than just installing the software - you need to determine your business processes and train your employees, among other things. Adept can help with the whole project. regards adam -- Adam Feuer afeuer at grameenfoundation dot org http://mifos.org http://www.grameenfoundation.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
