Hi, > I wanted to find out if Mifos can run on Windows 7.
I think there should not be any problem running Mifos on Windows 7 (32 bit). I haven't encountered any issue yet and I am using Windows 7 (Ultimate Edition-32 bit) for development (and building, deploying, testing) at my box for last 6 day. You might have to take care of Windows 7 UAC (User Account Control). I have just turned UAC off to make it fast, But turning off UAC could make system vulnerable in open environment (or network). I would say NO to use Windows 7 for Mifos in production, because Windows 7 is in early stage and it looks like there are some comparability info still need to be gathered by MS folks for softwares. for eg, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=mysql&os=32-bit Udai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Mifos-users mailing list Mifos-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mifos-users
