Hi Geraldine,

 

Wanted to let you know that the MFI that did report issues with our
arrears reporting in the Branch Progress report does, in fact, allow for
pre-payments.  So I suspect the issue you discovered is also causing the
problem in one of our own reports.

 

We are planning to look at/fix the branch progress report during the
next iteration (starting Monday)-so you should see updates to your bug
report shortly.

Thanks so much for the detailed bug report in JIRA and description
below.  We will try to get this bug fixed in the next release of Mifos.
Since you reported it in jira, you'll get automatic updates on the issue
status as we begin working on the bug.  Of course, if your MFI wants the
bug fixed faster-they are welcome to purchase a support contract.  J

I'll let others in the community chime in-but I haven't heard any others
report this particular issue.  However, many MFI don't allow for
prepayments-so perhaps that's why we haven't heard of the problem.  I do
know that one MFI recently reported several issues with our Branch
Progress report.  One of those issues more clients were displaying in 1
week arrears than there should have been.  I'll email them to see if
they allow prepayments:
