Hi,
we are planning to set up MIFOS for our micro finance accounts this year.
We would like to set up restrictions on our savings accounts to encourage
saving. Specifically we want the account to be ineligible for interest if
there are more than 2 withdrawals in the previous month. I can see in Mifos
you can set a value for a max withdrawal but if we set this to 1 Naira it
prevents any withdrawals higher than that amount which is not what is
required. Is there any way to achieve what we are looking for?
Secondly for group accounts we don't want any interest added until the
account is being closed at which stage it will be added. I don't see this
as an option in mifos so I assume we could just show interest as being 0%
and then manually adding interest at time of account closure? Are there
alternatives?
