Nayan,

Thank you for filing that feature request. It seems like a feature
that can greatly support the demographic analysis an MFI needs as they
expand their outreach to new branches. While not scheduled for our
upcoming release, I believe it should be available in a subsequent
release as part of our new Question Groups feature.

Question Groups are a powerful new feature that is forthcoming in our
Leila E release for the end of 2010. This new feature will replace
our Additional Fields and Surveys capabilities by providing a much
more flexible and dynamic approach to capturing information at various
stages of the workflow at the center/group/client/account levels.

This feature can cover a wide variety of use cases in tracking
information at various stages for the business processes at an MFI.

While still under development, I'd encourage you to play around with
this new functionality on the test server at http://ci.mifos.org:8085/mifos/.
Browse to the admin tab and then go to the Manage Questions section.
There you can create new question groups and questions which can be
assigned to the various stages of the workflow in Mifos.
