Hello,

Thanks to Gayl for pointing this out. Currently on the Test Server, that
branch of the code only has Question Groups for the following stages -
Create Group, Create Client, and Create Loan currently implemented.

If you create a question group at another stage (i.e. Create Center) you
won't actually be able to see the question group activated.

So please just test Question Groups on the three stages reference above
until we've updated the test server with the full functionality for
implementing question groups across various stages.

Subject: Re: [Mifos-users] Surveys - how to view consolidated results

Gayl,

I don't have any custom reports handy and from what I've heard, its kind
of
a bear to pull the data for reports (I think, specifically, from
multiple-choice questions). The one institution I know using surveys,
in
fact, exports the db to another db to do some data transformation and
then
reports on it.

That being said, we are rolling out a new feature in the next version of
Mifos - Question Groups - which will deprecate some things in mifos like
surveys, custom fields, etc. I would take a look at the feature (there
should be specs on mifos.org - and you can see it in action on the
testing
server - http://ci.mifos.org:8085/mifos/login.ftl) and consider waiting
until its released, at least from the reporting side**

R

** I believe the product team is developing tools which will help
migrate
data over, so you could start using those features in Mifos, but the
reporting would only be temporary.
