Hello all,
We¹ve recently discovered a bug with Mifos with group savings products that
relies on individual contributions. How this feature is supposed to work is
that it is a standard group savings product, but that the regular scheduled
deposit amount is dependent on the number of members. IE, if you make the
individual contributions 10 rupees, you would times this by the number of
active members to get the required deposit (25 members = 250 rupees).
It appears that as of now, while it does create a group savings product, it
is asking for individual contributions in the CSE and is not populating the
group amount in the CSE or when attempting to pay through the account page.
You can get more details here: http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4344
Question for the community Is anyone using group or center savings
accounts, where you specify the amount due based on the individual
contributions?
Thanks,
Ryan
