Subject: Thoughts on HR and Web integration

Hi All,

My thoughts on the HR integration and Web integration:

a) HR integration - The following are the consolidated HR features
requested by Digamber and RiSE

- Ability to track employee attendance

- Ability to specify the targets (both amount and numbers) for
loan officers

- Ability to measure actual vs target achievements for loan
officers

- Ability to track formation and transfer of centers and groups
across loan officers and their status (number of members, groups and
centers currently being handled) as on a past date.

And ability to export the above information to Excel sheets for further
analysis

- Ability to automatically disable Mifos user accounts for
employees who are absent for a day (alternative could be to disable
certain user accounts during non-office hours and to enable them during
the day only if they are marked as present) - this is to prevent
employees from mis-using Mifos when they are not present in office

EMILY: I really like all of these. I'd personally start with the first
4 and then look into #5 later.

b) Web integration - this is something that is specifically
requested by RiSE

http://www.karunadu.gov.in/pages/district-list.aspx

Websites like the above provide information related to specific
districts.

The information from these web-pages can be used to do KYC of customers

Challenges:

Links to all districts may not work - outdated links

Information at each of the district websites may not be upto date and
the maintenance of the data is not centralized. So each of them may have
been updated last on a different date.

Information is not represented in a uniform format - PDF, html etc. are
some of the challenges

Information fields are not standard - the list of fields published by
each district could differ

Information could be published in regional language - matching this with
information in Mifos could be a challenge

                                Thought:

                                                If we provide mechanism
to upload saved webpages or scanned documents etc. to members or groups
or loans, we can ask RiSE if this could be an acceptable workaround.

EMILY: I do not think doing this work makes sense. From what I
understand, every district has a different UI-and it would be insane to
try to keep up with their changes. We should look at a longer term
solution like the UID project and see if we can start integrating with
that project asap.
