Hello all,
I've discussed this with several of you personally but wanted to openly on the
lists bring together a subgroup to improve the documentation we have for
getting Mifos Business Intelligence Suite installed. I want as many users
across the community to take advantage of our brand new standard reports and
data warehouse. Right now, the current installation documentation
<http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Installing+Mifos+BI+1.0> is
pretty technical and Linux-specific.
I'm hoping to do the following (in order of priority):
1) Create a Windows install guide for Mifos BI.
2) Expand current Linux-specific documentation with more detail and explanatory
notes (screenshots if needed)
3) Organize BI documentation section

- I've begun pulling together some of it but would like to think of best
structure and carry that out.
4) Create a clear explanation of the Data Warehouse, ETL jobs troubleshooting
(basically organizing what's spread out across several pages)
5) Quick set of FAQs/Troubleshooting tips on common tasks in Pentaho (expanding
off some of what SunGard has pulled together

**Could include how to designing new report, setting up users, why are reports
running slow, what reports will run in Pentaho?
Could you all respond with your thinking or what you would like to see in terms
of BI installation documentation.
If you would like to volunteer to take on some of the above tasks, please
respond to the list or begin editing/creating the docs.
