From a usability perspective, we’ll want to be very careful about having the
dates change throughout the application. It will be confusing if in some
places they are one way and in other places, they are another way—esp if it’s
switching between the European DD-MM-YYYY and the US MM-DD-YYYY.
Any way to turn this off until the entire app is switched over? Or to somehow
keep dates consistent?

along with a number of bugs in this area. The dates displayed in the
repayment schedule and disbursement should be fixed. I set my local
instance to zh_CN and checked it out. The date in english locale was
18-apr-2011 and in zh_CN was 2011-4-18, does this look right to you?
