Natu is correct in that both the Additional Fields and Survey
Functionalities have been replaced by the Question Groups functionality
as of Mifos 2.0+
You can learn more about Question groups by reading the functional
specification
(http://mifos.org/functional-specifications/retrieving-information/quest
ion-groups) and how to use and configure the feature in the Question
Groups sections in our user manual:

Depending on the version of Mifos that you are using, if it is Mifos
2.0+ i think you can use the feature of Question Groups to achieve the
same functionality as additional fields, i also did'nt find additional
fields in versions 2.0+.

Not sure if any of you can help but I am new to Mifos and has

add a few additional fields. The problem I am having is that the 'Define
Additional Fields' option is not available under the Admin tab. I set
the permission for a new user to be able to add additional fields but
not success. The mifos user has the permission available but even the
mifos user cannot add new fields as the option is not shown under the
