First, it's great to see the community rallying and engaging to make Mifos more
community-driven. As the different ideas and discussions evolve, I'd love to
see more of them happening out in the open for the entire community to comment
on (vs one-on-one conversations which are admittedly useful as well).
Couple of specific questions:

can you say more about this, specifically what "fund the core project" means?
does that include funding core software development/QA/etc.?
are there funders currently interested? if so, that's great! if not, i think we
need to be a bit cautious about banking on funding coming in and perhaps move
forward assuming that funding isn't there, plan for that contingency as a
community, and then if funding comes through it will presumably just strengthen
things. what do you think?
can you also get more of this out in the open for the full community to
participate in / comment on eg what is the strategy/org/leading
individuals/etc? is this the same as what Miguel posted previously?
