Hello, I'm helping Jakub & Binny with some suspected Connection leak investigation at GK, and as part of that looked into how one can monitor the Mifos Database Connection Pool.
With VisualVM (included in the JDK for free) this is quite easy; I've written it up on the Wiki at http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Connection+Pool+Monitoring.
