i am having issues with mifos. it is extremely slow when running the
following tasks:
1. opening groups, loan/saving accounts.
2. running reports.
3. opening the "Admin" Tab.
I recently encountered the "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" error.
I had the CATALINA_OPTS initially set to -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m. I have increase the same to -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m; am still getting the same outcome.
in addition to the above i have added the the following parameters to the
tomcat java Tab;
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-XX:+CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled
-XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled
The mifos applications starts-off OK then with a few minutes the pages keeps
loading but rarely opens.
I am using Apache tomcat 7.0.21
how can increase the Java heap space and improve performance.
please advice!
