Keith,

I was reviewing some old issues on JIRA and had a question about:
http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-2870

The scenario in this issue is basically that some MFIs would have a product
with a meeting frequency that is weekly initially and then switches to
monthly. I wanted to confirm that this scenario was out of the scope of
what was recently enabled with the support for multiple loan frequencies.

What we currently support is that a client could have a loan with weekly
frequency even if they belong to a group/center that meets monthly. I
understand that we removed the rigidity and dependency of assigning
products based on the group/center meeting schedule.

What we don't currently support is the ability within a single loan
product/loan instance to shift from monthly to weekly and vice versa.

I take it for this scenario, one would have to close and reschedule the
loan.

I tried testing it out on the demo server and once I disbursed a loan that
was weekly, I couldn't change the repayment schedule to a monthly one even
if I changed the product after the fact.
