Hi All,
This issue is resolved. Sorry, if anyone was looking into it.
Reason for the issue:
Out of the Box Ubuntu 11.10 32bit recognized only 3GB of RAM(found using
free -m command in the terminal). The issue was due to less RAM memory
space. Mifos along with MySQL used close to 1.8GB of RAM. I used the
standard Ubuntu GNOME environment(Maverick) which uses close to 1GB of RAM.
So, the system was using 2.8GB out of 3GB RAM. So, when i clicked on
"disburse loan" and "repayment schedule" the system did not have enough
memory.
Solution:
I used Ubuntu 11.10 64bit and Jetty 7.3, it works like a charm.
I don't know who thought of "install-ubuntu.sh" script. My great Kudos to
that Mifos group. This one simplied the complete Mifos installation in
ubuntu. Infact, it took less than 2 minutes to install and start working on
Mifos (assuming Java jdk, Mysql and Jetty are already installed). Thank you
again, Mifos team!!!
Thanks,
Vin
