A quick remainder to the user community to review and provide
improvements/suggestions the specification. We would like to close this phase
of requirement latest by this week so that the feature can be moved to the
development phase at the earliest.

I am attaching the link below for the functional specification of the
functionality related to transferring amounts from the savings account to make
loan and fee payments. Kindly request you to review the same and let me know

A few points to note here
1. Currently we are focusing only on payments for loans by using the
savings account balances. We will take up the savings to savings account
transfer in the next phase.
2. Transfer of payments is currently being considered from one savings
account only.
3. To make the functionality complete, we ideally need to provide the
payment option in collection sheet as well. However given that the collection
sheet modification is a big change, I propose that we take up this change as a
phase 2 when we modify the larger functions associated with Collection sheet.
However if there is a strong need to include this payment option in the
collection sheet as well , I can work on adding those use cases to the specs
in parallel to the development efforts
4. Can someone with greater knowledge on the accounting implications of
this functionality review the accounting /transaction related use cases? I want
to be sure this has been captured appropriately in the specs.
Comments/suggestions on this specification are welcome. I want this spec
development to be a community effort and hence request the members to provide
inputs. Kindly request you to revert back to me with comments/suggestions
latest by Wednesday 11th April 8pm IST so that we can incorporate all the
suggestions and move this feature to development phase at the earliest.
