Hi Thomas, "Date of transaction is invalid. This date has already been closed for accounting." message appears when 'Month closing' option is configured in Mifos. If month closing date is configured then you can't apply any transaction in Mifos with date before month closing date.
If you want to change month closing date: 1. Go to Admin page 2. Click on 'Month closing' link in Accounting section. 3. Check 'Current Month Closing date'. 4. Enter new date in 'Change to' field or remove date if you want to turn off this feature. 5. Click on 'Change' button Let me know if that helps.
