Hello Team, Using Mifos 2.4.1, In Declining Balance Interest Recalculation you cannot apply payment to an amount that has accrued. i.e For a Loan of Disbursal Date: 30 AUG 2012 Loan Amount: 1,000,000 from 1 Month Interest Rate: 15% Total Amount Due on 30 SEPT 2012: 1,150,000 However if this person comes to pay 1,151,000 UGX on 3 OCT 2012 of the expected 1,155,000 UGX (Just Estimated the accrued amount). U cannot apply this payment of 1,151,000 in Mifos 2.4.1 In brief, If he decides to pay an amount more than 1,150,000 But Less than 1,155,000 this payment can’t be save in the system.
