Hi everyone,
Thanks for the new Mifos 2.5.0! Looking forward to applying it in our credit
coop. We have now deployed Mifos 2.4.1 (Jetty 7.3.1) with Pentaho BI 1.3 at
present time. We are just trying to finish the input of all past payments.
Thanks for all the great help from the community!
It would be really beneficial to apply Mifos 2.5.0 with all its new features
and tickets resolved. For Upgrade Instructions from 2.4.1 to 2.5.0, please
advice where I can find it or how to. This link
(https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Mifos+2.5+Upgrade+Instructions)
does not show much just yet.

Mifos 2.5.0 release has been shipped and is available for download at:

Mifos 2.5.0 (Samiha J) is the third major community-supported release led by
SolDevelo. It includes several new features: receipt generate/print
functionality, ability to configure payment order, integrated Pentaho DW
reports, accounts import functionality and Simple Accounting module. It also
includes a number of critical fixes.
For a full run-down of what's being shipped, see the release notes. Some of the
major features include:
* Added Receipt generate/print functionality while approving Loan and
applying payments
* Added ability to configure payment order (possibility to always repay
overdue interest first)
* Integrated Pentaho DW reports in Mifos (11 Data Warehouse reports can
be run directly from Mifos)
* Added ability to have Role based editing permission rights at the
Questionnaire level
* Added new Single Smart Select question type
* Added possibility to import new Savings accounts (template can be
downloaded from here)
* Added possibility to import new Loan accounts (template can be
downloaded from here)
* Audi Plugin functionality has been enhanced (faster data import,
possibility to undo the whole import)
* Added Simple internal ACCOUNTING Module
