on Mifos X we've recently begun work on implementing a Maker-Checker
capability. It's quite an interesting capability and quite common in
financial applications. This is where someone makes a change (like create
client) and someone else approves that change. Keith Woodlock is doing the
development.
There is a wiki page that talks about the work from a requirements and
technical point of view

If you are interested in the requirements or technical aspects please have
a look and feel free to either edit the wiki page or add comments. We hope
to have a demo of the basics next week at the user meeting (if that slot is
available).to show a basic implementation of the Maker-Checker capability
and discuss what else should be included for Maker-Checker in the first
release.
Also, on the wiki page there is a powerpoint attachment called
maker-checker.ppsx from Amit of Digamber. This gives an overview of the
maker-checker concept and was a key input into the work so far.
