Ed,

I will also try to attend these user meetings, if you think it will be
helpful. I thought I was unavailable during last week's meeting, because I
was thinking 1530 Pacific, not GMT. I'm not quite used to working with
this global team structure. :-)

Also one thought for you this evening: I get a sense there will need to be
two intertwined efforts for the non-technical folks, one for the
documentation (installation, usage, etc.) and one for the support process
when they have questions and problems.

I can tell Mifos is very developer-driven, which has its own set of
strengths. But, depending on how many less-technical people you expect to
interface with the community, it may be beneficial to create a fairly
defined and structured process they follow to get their needed help.

The reason I say the two efforts are intertwined is that what does/will
exist to support these people affects how the documentation is designed.

Ideally, of course, the documentation and support efforts for more
technical people, such as implementation partners, will be designed
hand-in-hand with the less-technical efforts. But I understand this may
not be realistic due to resources, or maybe due to the nature of an open
source community. My previous experience is definitely with small, nimble,
fairly closed groups, so I'm looking to learn.

Thanks,
Todd
