In Mifos 2.x, if saving product definition is modified then what happens to
the saving accounts opened (earlier to product definition modification)
with that product destination?
1) Saving account terms will not get effected.
2) Saving account will use the new terms from definition.
As per my knowledge Mifos should behave like option 1)
The reasons why I have this doubt are
a) In Mifos savings account screen, there is no saving account terms
details are present (ex: interest rate, interest calculation period,
interest posting/compounding period)
b) In Mifos database I am *not* able locate "*interest posting/compounding
period*" associated with each saving account (for that I need to refer
saving product definition, but other attributes such interest rate are
present with saing account)
c) Is this a bug in Mifos 2 .x ?
I need know this, because while migrating data from MIfos 2.x to Mifos X,
for each saving account to get the these attributes need to refer product
definition or account will have these information with account itself.
