All,
I would like to make a request to all who post to the Mifos User and
Developer lists. Can we keep developer topics and user topics restricted to
the relevant mailing lists?
[email protected] - this is for any mails on how to use or
configure Mifos and if a certain feature is supported in Mifos or not.
[email protected] - this is for developers who are
building features , integrating with other applications, developing reports
or extending batch jobs etc. on top of what Mifos offers today.
In my mind, I see benefits in keeping these two lists separate. Developers
can focus on responding to "developer" questions and others (technical
trainers, users, functional experts, specialists and others) can respond to
user questions. Please let me know if you agree.
I personally am finding it difficult to keep track of some of the threads
since I typically do not follow developer threads very closely, however I am
keen to follow user threads.
Ed, are there any published guidelines on this topic?
Thanks
Binny
