Can please share some sample schedule for declining principal, I did not
understood what you mean by declining principal
Mifos X at present support only two type of amortization, one is equal
installments and another is equal principal payments.
Note: Equal principal is also know as declining installment because
principal portion is fixed but interest will keep on reducing as you pay.
so it is reducing installment or declining installment
Mifos X platform supports defining the custom loan products, loan product
can be defined by navigating to Admin>Products>Loan Products
Under "Create loan product" screen there is section for settings, under
settings select the *Amortization type*: Depending upon the type of
amortization you practice select one.
- Equal Installments - All repayment amounts will be equal but the
principal and interest amounts will vary with each repayment.
- Equal Principal Payments - All principal amounts will be equal but the
repayment and interest amounts will vary with each repayment.
