Hello -
The real use scenario is that in Belize, customers can make “bill payments” at
a bank to a merchant account. One of these merchants is a local credit union
for deposits and/or loan payments.
The credit union debits the bank account general ledger cash account and
credits the customer’s account directly. The challenge is that the current
design of the general ledger system in Mifos X does not allow a direct GL
posting in a customer account. Since this is a fairly common transaction in a
financial institution, I am wondering what a good work around for this GL to
Customer transaction would be until such a time as the Mifos general ledger
system can manage this sort of account.
