There looks to be a bug specifically for general ledger report as there is
permission code mismatch w.r.t the report name. A good task for GCI J

But generally, while selecting permissions, ‘Configuration’ -> ‘Read Report’
should be checked to be able to read the list of report names.

And then any required reports to be selected from ‘Report’ section.

Subject: Re: [Mifos-users] Accountant can not view the general ledger report

Hi All,

Even we reproduced the same, but we didn't find any issue. We are able to see
the GeneralLedger Report in the list and also when we provide proper inputs
the report is showing the data.

As Zayyad said, we need to "Assign ALL FUNCTIONS READ under Special category."

Thanks

I tried the same on the demo server and I too can't access anything from the
reports tab - is there a permission that's not in reporting permissions to
access reports?

I've cc'd the Apache Fineract user list as well.

Hi all,

I have created a role "Accountant" allowing all general ledger read
permissions under accounting category of permissions and all reports
read permissions under reports category of permission. But an
"Accountant" can not view the general ledger report.

Expect for the super user of the system.

Can anyone assist please?

Regards,
