Dear Santosh,
The deb files that I generate should work with any versions of the Ubuntu /
Debian since a year back.
The repository I am hosting has MySQL 5.6 community edition from MySQL
site. the Mifos Deb package depends on JRE and Tomcat from the OS itself. I
can modify the post install script to check if tomcat7 / tomcat8 is
installed. All my systems are not on Ubuntu 17.10. Let me create a
container with Ubuntu 17.04 and test it out.
The Key error on tomcat8 I understand from my research is due to the
keystore type, which I can fix. I want to understand how to fix the drizzle
error. If we resolve that then tomcat8 should be ok.
Some thing else I wanted to try is install mysql 5.7 on a container and use
mysql5.6 client on Mifos server to connect to mysql-server 5.7.
Any thoughts would be great.
