That error happens when you are trying to migrate opening balance while you
have posted journal entries,
What have you done relating with accounting in the system so far?

At "Account linked to financila activities" you are mapping the financial
activities that will be done automatically by system with the activiities
perfomed,
You should map the activities that you think the institution will be perfoming
in the system,
For the case of migrating opening balance for a new instatitution, you can
start migrating the capital of the institution by crediting the account
responsible for capital (equity) and debit either Cash or Bank account (asset)

I read the user manual section on Account linked to financial activity and
migration of opening balances and i practiced it.
The example assumed an existing credit union that want to migrate data from a
previous system to mifos x but what if it is new institution that is being
created and has no prior database?
Which kind of mapping will be done at the level of Account linked to financial
activity?
In addition, while migrating opening balances , which accounts will be
affected?
