Dear Santosh, This happens when user exports Pentaho report to excel, during export some cells are merged automatically during export and i think whether or not the columns are defined, it will not change what happens during the exporting process.
During report design (pentaho / crystal reports or any other reporting tool) one might place different data formats on top of others so excel uses its own "brain" to interpret the rows using the first rows on top of a report So for Pentaho users will always be challenged with this. I personally think it an issue of pentaho rather than data formats of the report template itself My Kind Regards Francis Guchie Kirago On Wed, Oct 23, 2019 at 10:06 AM Santosh Math < sant...@confluxtechnologies.com> wrote: > Hi Paul, > Please define number format for each column.
