To demonstrate the various real-world scenarios that the account information and payment initiation Open Banking APIs can enable, we are building out a framework for developing 3rd party fintech open banking apps.
We’d like for this be a framework which provides common components and libraries like customer onboarding, authentication, viewing account details, account dashboard, etc. and then building a series of reference apps for a small set of use cases. The framework can be then be taken up by any developer to build their own production-ready fintech app leveraging Open Banking APIs and these common components. We want to build this to integrate with our Payment Hub EE lab environment and are seeking to identify a GSOC intern to work on the initial development. The aim is to build this as cross-platform using a language like Kotlin. We welcome the input from this group in the following ways: - Components that consist of the core framework and common across apps - Use cases that could be enabled by Open Banking APIs - Assist in architecture, design, and user experience of the application.
