Thanks everyone for your comments. I will now close this thread as it has received a positive consensus to organise the independent committee to ensure that modularity suggestions on Fineract 1.x are reviewed with the help of this committee. Once this review is documented, we can then begin to discuss the incorporation of these suggestions for an upcoming release. Shortly, I will share the mechanism with which this community should organise this independent committee, in line with ASF’s laid out guidelines. A little help from existing PMC would be appreciated.
